We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Workers' Compensation Senior Program Manager to lead and manage our Workers' Compensation insurance program. In this pivotal role, you will oversee underwriting excellence, risk selection, portfolio management, compliance adherence, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate will bring extensive underwriting experience, deep knowledge of workers' compensation, and proven leadership capabilities to drive program profitability and exceptional client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, manage, and continually refine Workers' Compensation insurance programs, including coverage structures, endorsements, and underwriting guidelines.
- Evaluate new submissions and renewal accounts, ensuring optimal risk selection, appropriate pricing, and adherence to company underwriting standards.
- Collaborate effectively with brokers, agents, and internal departments including actuarial, claims, risk management, compliance, and product development.
- Conduct comprehensive audits and inspections to ensure underwriting integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor portfolio performance, analyze loss trends, and implement data-driven adjustments to enhance profitability and market competitiveness.
- Lead and mentor underwriting teams, promoting professional growth and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Cultivate strong relationships with industry partners, agencies, and clients to support business retention and growth.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, Insurance, or related discipline. (An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.)
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial underwriting, specifically with deep expertise in Workers' Compensation.
- Experience with Program underwriting.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop underwriting staff.
- Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal Workers' Compensation laws and regulatory compliance.
- Strong proficiency with insurance underwriting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to establish effective relationships with internal teams, external partners, brokers, and clients.
- Professional certifications such as CPCU, ARM, CIC, or CRM are highly desirable.
Location: This role can be based nationwide or specifically in Atlanta, GA.
