GENERAL PURPOSE:


The VP, Valuations Fulfillment will oversee the self-fulfillment operations of Valuation Nexus. This role will be responsible for building, facilitating and managing all products and fulfillment services offered to our client base through the usage of technology, data, and/or other services necessary to meet the requirements of products being offered to the market.  

In this position, you will:


  • Strategic planning and tactical process development for the Valuations Fulfillment department.
  • Actively manage and develop a culture of continuous improvement in Valuations to ensure effective planning, high standards of service, and appropriate controls to achieve performance goals within agreed upon metrics.
  • Working in collaboration with the SVP, Valuations, will oversee the development and implementation of fulfillment policies, procedures and oversight functions necessary to achieve our goals and objectives to service our client base.
  • Direct and provide guidance to the VCM department heads in the development and implementation of new and updated procedures and ensure adherence to the same.
  • Develop and oversee build-out, implementation, and enhancement of proprietary desktop appraisal products and services.
  • Oversee technology suite, in collaboration with VP, Valuations, to assure Valuation Nexus is using the latest and greatest services and tools available to our respective teams.
  • Approve and oversee the selection, employment, training, direction, supervision, utilization, discipline, and termination of desktop appraisal panel and future internal staff members for the fulfillment operations. 
  • Participate in Valuation committee meetings to support enterprise risk mitigation requirements.
  • Participate in industry conferences, as needed, to ensure we’re at the forefront of modernization.
  • Work in lockstep with VP, Valuations to build operations of scale for our new entity in assurance we’re set up for short term and long-term success. 
  • Present and collaborate with other parent company divisions to assure we’re meeting client expectations to standard and promoting our flat organizational mindset. 
  • This position may involve handling confidential and sensitive information as part of its daily responsibilities. Employees are expected to exercise discretion and protect all sensitive data, including but not limited to personal information, loan details, business and financial records, and proprietary materials.

Successful candidates will possess:


  • Certified Residential Appraiser License required, at minimum.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of real estate valuation experience and 5+ years of construction management experience required.
  • Project management certification a plus.
  • Prior experience with short sales/REOs.
  • SRA membership is a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and ability to quickly learn new software programs.
  • SQL and/or C# knowledge a plus.
  • Title insurance background/understanding experience a plus.

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills necessary for presenting analysis, conclusions and recommendations required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of USPAP and appraisal methodologies

Salary Description$150,000.00 - $200,000.00/year
