Why you’ll love this role:As a Senior Product Manager, Data platform at StockX, you’ll be a key player in transforming our data on a global audience of 220 million annual visitors across 200+ countries. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Manager to lead the development and execution of data & ML focused initiatives for our eCommerce marketplace. In this role, you will be responsible for driving our roadmap specifically for our customer data platform (CDP) & AB testing infrastructure by creating innovative solutions that help support use cases that improve user experience, scale & optimize marketing acquisition & retention strategies via a data-driven approach, and enhance customer satisfaction.

You will work collaboratively across teams to deliver empowering teams across the organization with robust, scalable, and efficient data infrastructure / ML capabilities. 

What you’ll do:


As the Product Manager for Data Platform, you will work closely with Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science / ML team, Analytics, and business teams to define product strategy & requirements, prioritize features, and deliver solutions on the roadmap that enable data-driven decision-making including clickstream tracking across web & app and customer data automation for segmenting & hyper-targeting at scale. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring our platform is reliable, efficient, and capable of supporting complex analytical and AI-driven data initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define and execute the vision & roadmap for the Data Platform, aligning with company objectives and stakeholder needs, especially Marketing, Product & other departments using the Customer Data Platform (CDP) & AB testing infrastructure.
  • Partner with Marketing, Analytics, Customer Support, and UX/UI teams to ensure cohesive acquisition & retention data across all touchpoints by owning how they interact with our core ClickStream / Orders / Customer Service (CS) datasets.
  • Evangelize with business stakeholders & other product teams, the Data & AB infrastructure built up to drive adoption and ensure the platform / vendor partners meet their needs.
  • Be point of contact for and quality of the core Clickstream 1st party data at StockX. Work across org to help define requirements around new user data /  troubleshooting existing data discrepancy issues & closing them in collaboration with engineering, analytics, data and biz stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science / ML, and Analytics teams to design and implement scalable data infrastructure and AI/ML use cases.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to continuously enhance the platform’s capabilities.
  • Define success metrics and measure the impact of platform improvements on business and technical objectives, with a strong ability to prioritize based on those metrics, make data-driven decisions, and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence within the team.

About you:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, with background in software engineering, data science, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in platform product management, preferably in large eCommerce marketplace companies.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing principles, knowledge of SQL, and knowledge of Data ETL (Extraction / Transformation / Loading)
  • Proven ability to bridge work across cross-functional teams, including engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and product management frameworks.

Nice to have skills:


  • Familiarity with large scale Customer Data Platforms (CDP) such as Segment / mParticle etc and/or in house data lake systems serving similar purposes.
  • Experience with A/B testing with knowledge of user funnel metrics such as Conversion, Churn, Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), and cohort analysis.
  • Strong technical background with an understanding of Clickstream tracking & MarTech stack.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven product management.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and security best practices.

Pursuant to the various pay transparency laws/acts, the base salary range is $100,000 to $130,000 plus opportunities for benefits (e.g., medical, dental), equity and discretionary bonuses.
