The Night Shift Mechanical Technician Supervisor is responsible for leading, supervising, and managing the assembly team during the night shift. The supervisor ensures the production line operates efficiently, meets quality standards, and adheres to safety guidelines. This role involves managing staff, resolving issues, maintaining equipment, and ensuring production targets are met.
Roles and Responsibilities
Team Supervision:
- Supervise a team of assembly workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Ensure that employees follow company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain staff schedules and track attendance for night shift employees.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any performance issues.
Qualifications
Required:
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing setting. This could include leading a team, training new employees, and managing operational processes.
Preferred:
- Experience with assembly line operations or other production processes.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
