About the Role


We’re looking for a highly focused PCI-DSS Project Manager to drive our next PCI audit to a successful completion and achieve PCI-DSS certification within a 6-month timeframe. This role is hands-on and results-oriented, ensuring every department meets its responsibilities and deadlines.This is a unique opportunity to coordinate a talented team in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

What You’ll Do


Audit Readiness: Serve as the single point of accountability for all PCI-DSS certification activities, ensuring alignment and timely progress toward the scheduled PCI audit.Project Coordination: Create and maintain a precise project plan with clearly defined tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders. Track, report on, and escalate any issues that may impact the certification timeline.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Security, Engineering, Compliance and other relevant teams to coordinate documentation, evidence collection, and remediation efforts.Compliance Gap Analysis: Identify any shortfalls in current processes or documentation; promptly drive remediation strategies to closure.Status Reporting: Provide concise, regular updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders on project status, risks, and mitigations.QSA Liaison: Act as the primary contact for the QSA, ensuring all required materials are readily available, properly formatted, and delivered on time.

Requirements


What We’re Looking For


Proven PCI-DSS Expertise: Demonstrable experience leading PCI-DSS certification or recertification projects within a similar timeframe. Knowledge of the PCI-DSS 4.0.1 specification and understanding of the intent behind the requirements.External Auditor Liaison: Experience managing QSA requests, facilitating interviews, and ensuring timely delivery of evidenceProject Management Proficiency: Strong command of project management principles, able to juggle multiple work streams and keep teams on task against tight deadlines.Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of network security, data encryption, access control, and vulnerability management principles as they relate to PCI-DSS and compliance processes essential for PCI-DSS.Effective Communication and Collaboration: Ability to coordinate cross-departmental efforts and communicate clear objectives, roles, and deadlines.

Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to effectively address compliance issues and facilitate collaboration between teamsProblem-Solving Mindset: Adept at quickly identifying compliance issues and mobilizing teams to address them.
