Location: 4400 Papa Joe Hendrick Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina 28262Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The individual in this role will be responsible for a range of key duties, including managing material movement, warehouse replenishment, packaging materials for shipment, and order picking. The role involves working closely with the inventory team to supply materials to the production environment as directed. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and have experience in warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Load and unload pallets for shelf storage of products
  • Manually replenish shelves from backstock
  • Assist with the picking of production materials as needed
  • Load and unload trucks as required
  • Utilize forklift or pallet jack to move products within the warehouse
  • Package materials for shipment to customers
  • Receive and distribute inventory as required
  • Perform cycle counting of inventory
  • Act as a back-up for other positions during absences
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:


  • Understanding of batch and serialized products (a plus)
  • Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs) (a plus)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong self-direction and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Flexibility and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with a pallet jack and forklift

Desired Education & Experience:


  • Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
  • 1+ years of experience in traditional manufacturing is a plus
  • Experience working with metals in manufacturing is a plus
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems is required
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Procurement is desirable
  • Certificates & Licenses:
  • Forklift certification required

  • Communication Skills:
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with customers and company personnel
  • Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand, crouch, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds for 8+ hours a day
  • Environment Demands:
  • Indoor and outdoor exposure with potential exposure to loud noise, vibration, and fumes
  • Math & Reasoning Abilities:
  • Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Independent problem-solving skills with the ability to follow through until resolution

Work Schedule & Attendance Expectations:


  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

This role subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements and as such, U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or U.S. Person Status Required.
