How it’s going (and growing)
With a talented team of 600+ Roofsters, our collaborative, can-do culture is what fuels our growth. In 2022, we closed on our Series E, raising $240 million, and have offices in California, Texas, and New York as well as many remote opportunities. Our growth includes recent acquisitions of Stessa (financial and asset management software), RentPrep (tenant screening and placement service for landlords), and Mynd (property management platform for both Retail and Institutional investors).
About the Role
As the Senior Strategy Manager at Roofstock, you will be at the intersection of strategy and execution, helping drive operational efficiency and growth across our business. With your ability to approach complex challenges with a structured, analytical mindset, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement impactful solutions. This role requires someone who can balance high-level strategic thinking with the ability to dive into the tactical details and drive results.
You’ll report to the CPO and work closely with leadership to shape and execute business initiatives, ensuring that they align with company goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to define and execute strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional projects, working closely across marketing, sales, product, and finance to optimize processes and drive results.
- Analyze business performance data to identify areas for improvement, develop actionable insights, and implement solutions.
- Support the integration of new business initiatives, ensuring seamless coordination across departments and effective execution.
- Manage the development and execution of strategic projects and operational plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and adaptability to changing market conditions.
- Introduce frameworks and methodologies that enhance decision-making and problem-solving across teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices and encouraging innovative solutions to operational challenges.
- Provide strategic recommendations to leadership based on thorough analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and internal performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Earned MBA from a reputable institution, with a strong academic record or relevant on-the-job business experience
- 3-6 years of experience in management consulting or similar field, with a focus on operational strategy and process optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to transition from strategic advisory roles to hands-on operational leadership.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects from inception to completion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Understanding of business operations within prop-tech and or fintech; deep first-hand experience in real estate is a plus.
- Exceptional with data analysis and associate tools
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience in a high-growth company, navigating scaling challenges.
- Experience in real estate and fintech with an understanding of real estate purchase transaction processes

Compensation
$150,000 - $175,000 annual base salary
Pay Transparency
Our compensation reflects several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position represents the expected salary for this position. Ultimately, in determining your pay it will be based on several factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and other job related factors. Roofstock is a total compensation company; the base salary is only a part of our total compensation package.
