What We Are Looking For
The engineer will be involved in a variety of engineering tasks from equipment qualification, clean-room certification and design; evaluating new processes for a large laboratory and/or sterile compounding environment.
What You Will Do
- This position will work under the guidance and direction of an experienced engineering and quality team.
- Performs work assignments of limited scope and difficulty designed to provide advanced practical application and experience of theories and principles in the mechanical engineering field.
- Apply the principles of science and mathematics to develop economical solutions to technical problems.
- Review mechanical/electrical portions of engineering designs prepared by
- Architect-Engineer firms for various systems and facilities.
- Demonstrated experience in ISO 14644, CETA cleanrooms Guidance and HVAC systems for controlled environment facilities.
- Perform operations, maintenance, and modifications involving laboratory equipment following Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Write operations, maintenance, repair, and special test procedures.
- Process engineering change orders and technical documentation.
- Provides support in equipment qualification.
- Conduct system testing/validation, troubleshooting/investigating equipment/system failures and interpreting analysis data/technical drawings/schematics to resolve anomalies and provide written corrective action.
- Work shall ensure that facilities operate in a safe and appropriate manner and comply with all federal, state, and local codes/regulations.
- Complies with company policies and all applicable SOPs; complies with ISO 17025, cGMPs, cGLPs and Quality Control Guidelines.
Who You Are
- Must have a master’s degree in engineering or a 4-year degree in engineering technology plus 5 years of experience.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in CAD Design.
- Experience with Flow Analysis.
- Candidates should possess creativity, curiosity, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential.
