As a Staff Technical Program Manager within our engineering PMO (ePMO) team, you will partner with product engineering and business leaders to establish and manage the Practice area's portfolio. Your responsibilities will include helping clarify and challenge objectives, creating and updating roadmaps, and assessing complexities and risks. You will work closely with skilled leaders and team members to deliver high-quality solutions quickly and efficiently.Join a vibrant ePMO team within Collective Health Engineering, dedicated to executing portfolio and programs, ensuring consistency and timely delivery that aligns with ePMO's best practices.
You will evaluate and assess program health, recommend necessary corrective actions, and promptly escalate issues for resolution.This role requires a strategic mindset, technical background, and the ability to influence and align multiple practice areas. Reporting to the Head of the ePMO, your responsibilities will include defining and evolving best practices in program execution, scaling Agile methodologies, and mentoring other program managers within the organization.
What you'll do:
- Lead multiple, concurrent complex initiatives with dependencies across practice areas that have a direct impact on business strategy and long-term success.
- Develop vision and roadmap and drive and establish a detailed roadmap for your areas of ownership.
- Work and partner closely with the product engineering and business leaders to identify initiative scope, define success criteria, build, and outline resource requirements.
- Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to gain support and alignment on initiatives and priorities.
- Provide executive-level visibility into initiative health, risks, and dependencies, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of fundamental challenges to further shape product and technical direction.
- Influence leaders across the org to meet the evolving needs of the business, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals.
- Champion innovation and drive initiatives that enhance agility, scalability, and operational efficiency across the organization.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or other related technical subject area (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of experience successfully leading technical programs in a fast paced, multifaceted,
- Expertise in Agile execution and the use of Jira and Jira plan is required.
- Exceptional leadership and influencing skills, with a proven ability to drive alignment among senior stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering solutions when needed, while navigating a fast-paced environment with frequent shift in priorities.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal/presentations. Ability to bridge from high-level objectives to project details and vice-versa.
- Technical understanding of the work involved. Willingness to develop domain expertise in the area they operate.
- Experience defining and running end-to-end complex and large scale, technical initiatives/programs that deliver measurable business value.
- Strong understanding of portfolio management, product lifecycle management, and Product engineering operations.
- Experience working closely with C-level executives and senior leadership.

This is a hybrid position based out of our San Francisco office, with the expectation of being in office at least two weekdays per week. #LI-hybridThe actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
