Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:This role will act as the technical interface between our client’s network platform teams and MIW’s security resources. You will be responsible for periodically assessing/auditing the security of network platforms and taking corrective actions for any security issues discovered. You will closely work with both client platform teams and their equipment vendors in order to ensure compliance with the client’s security policies and processes.Work closely with the client’s platform and security teams to continuously improve network securityReview changes to security requirements and develop a detailed understanding of the impact on the clientDevelop a deep understanding of client’s platforms and roadmaps and assess the same relative to the overall securityProactively identify any technical features that may raise a security issueBecome part of the client platform team’s inner circleCollaborate with MIW security teams to ensure an understanding of client’s requirements, plans, and challengesEnsure client’s requests are submitted correctly to the team, resolve any security issues, track issue status, and keep the client updatedRecording and/or tracking security issues using the client’s security compliance toolsAct as 1st escalation point for clients for security mattersFollowing ISO policies and procedures in their day-to-day workReporting any non-conformities or opportunities for improvementParticipating in ISO training and awareness programs
Education & Experience
5+ years interacting directly with client technical managers and technical SMEsDetailed end-to-end call flow knowledge of basic services, such as voice calls and messaging, in 4G and 5G networksKnowledge and experience with troubleshooting support tools such as Wireshark and other protocol analyzers and with
4G and/or 5G devices
End-to-end architectural knowledge of modern wireless carrier networks, including components, component behavior, and component interfacesMust have 2-3 years' experience in Ansible scripting Language and Unix/Linux, including shell scriptingWorking Experience with Azure, Jira, GitHub, scripting, python, and data structures (JSON)Extensive Kubernetes knowledgeExperience with automation tools (Ansible preferred, Terraform, Azure DevOps nice to have)Strong Linux experience, able to work with and perform VM monitoring tasksExperience with security logging reviews and creating MOPs (Methods of Procedures) for operationsMust have strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and take ownership of the deliverables and accountabilityExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood cross-functional and team collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in a team environmentHighly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong technical skillsDisclaimer:This information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this role.
