We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team and ensure our employees have the technical tools and support they need to succeed.This is a non-exempt, hourly in-office position with opportunities for growth and development in an exciting, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities


Technical Support & Maintenance:

  • Install and configure end-user software and hardware (e.g., laptops, monitors, peripherals).
  • Maintain and update IT documentation for systems, processes, and equipment.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot conference room audiovisual equipment and software.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of end-user hardware and IT assets.
  • Assist with onboarding new local and remote employees by setting up accounts,
  • Monitor office network and IT infrastructure to identify potential issues proactively.

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:

  • Diagnose and resolve end-user hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot office LAN connectivity problems (wired and wireless networks).
  • Investigate root causes of recurring issues and document solutions for future reference.
  • Escalate complex technical problems to higher-level IT personnel or external vendors as needed.

Employee Interaction & Support:

  • Respond promptly to user inquiries and requests for assistance virtually or in person.
  • Provide clear, concise assistance to users with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Document all interactions, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps in the IT ticketing system.

Technical Skills


  • Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems (including basic command line use and scripting).
  • Familiarity with Google WorkSpaces administration (e.g., Gmail, Drive, Calendar).
  • Experience troubleshooting consumer computing hardware (e.g., laptops, desktops) and software applications.
  • Understanding of basic wired and wireless networking concepts (e.g., IP addressing, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
  • Knowledge of endpoint management tools and basic security best practices.

Skills & Qualifications


  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues methodically.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Work Environment & Requirements


This is an on-site role based in our Seattle office (5 days per week) with occasional remote support responsibilities as needed. The position may require lifting or moving equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Compensation:


  • Base hourly salary range: $25 - $35
