Business System AnalystStarting base salary $88,000 - $108,000 CAD*Plus Bonus, Equity & Benefits* Pay transparencyOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills and experience demonstrated during the interview process.  The Business Analyst is is passionate about understanding our client’s business needs andtranslating them into actionable solutions that create value rapidly.

They are a key member ofthe project team working project from design and planning to hand off to operations.What you will be doing:

  • Leads client-facing and internal discovery sessions to solicit and document customerfunctional and technical requirements
  • Develops design alternatives, produce work estimates, identifyrecommendations, andfacilitates agreement on designs that satisfy projectsuccess factors and reflect industry andsoftware best practices.
  • Configures various internal and 3rd party software solutions based on the solution design and performing quality assurance to minimize rework.
  • Maintains high quality requirements documentation over the life of a project, with a focus on utility over extensiveness.
  • Leads regular project discussions with customers and project teams to review work plans,risks, actions, issues, and decisions in an effort to drive projects to completion. Escalates critical issues to leadership for resolution.
  • Consults with internal departments to understand and document the impacts of solution alternatives to support project decision making. Supports identification and documentationof post go live operational procedures for operations teams.
  • Designs and delivers internal and client-facing training sessions, and authoring training materials as required (including documents, slide shows, videos, etc.)
  • Provides feedback from customers and internal team to our ProductManagement leads to inform various roadmap activity, brings forwardopportunities to improve our software andservices based on feedback fromcustomers and market.

What you’ll bring to this role:

  • Excellent communication skills with a record of building client relationships
  • Strong attention to detail evidenced by direct work experience in a related field such asquality assurance, system configuration, testing, etc.
  • Ability to quickly and effectively become a trusted advisor (consultative, willing to ask questions, challenge, and support our clients and internal teams).
