What you’ll do… 


The Manager of Data Analytics will support our Asset Management team with insights gained from analyzing company data. The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. Most importantly, they will provide insights that provide the opportunity to produce favorable business results. They must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations.

They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.

You’ll make an impact by: 


· Creating, managing, and improving all existing KPI’s, metrics and exception reports· Serving as subject matter expert in all of Enchanted Rock’s operational systems, software, databases, processes, customer contracts and product offerings· Writing Complex SQL queries for adhoc analysis· Summarizing findings for management teams using visualization and presentation tools such as PowerPoint and PowerBI· Leading and driving insightful analytical findings by turning available data into business-usable information · Working directly with other departments, external stakeholders, customers, and management to solve business problems in a timely mannerRequirements

You’ll sweep us off our feet if you: 


· Work with stakeholders throughout an organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.· Use data insights to increase and optimize customer experiences and engagement, revenue generation, and other business outcomes.· Have expert Power Bi and SSRS capabilities, or experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders.· Are extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Especially proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.· Experience analyzing data from 3rd party providers and pulling data in from 3rd party providers.· Experience working with and creating data architectures.· Have excellent managerial and problem-solving skills, and the ability to command respect.· Have excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and project management skills related to prioritizing and executing timely deliverables within timeline, scope, and budget.· Can understand business needs to drive buy-in among company leaders to enable transformation and advance strategic priorities while building rapport and fostering a collaborative working environment.· Have excellent attention to detail.· Have strong experience in working as a business partner in delivering better decision support and enabling strategic initiatives which help to improve organization performance.· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What you’ll need:


· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field with 7+ years’ experience.· Experience working for a retail energy provider, or, energy-service-oriented business or utility company, preferred.· Coding knowledge and experience with several languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, etc.· Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.· Ability to read/write data from/to excel, csv, SQL, or other diverse data sources using scripting.· Advanced Excel Skills: Vlookups, Pivot Tables, If/Then statements, Match, Index & Offset, VBA, etc.· SQL Experience (MS SQL Server): Writing queries using joins, temp tables, CTE, partitions, group by aggregations, stored procedures, parameters, views, Insert/Update/Delete operations etc.· Power BI & SSRS: Experience creating paginated reports with Microsoft Report builder or Visual Studio.

Creating PowerBI reports and dashboards using PowerBI desktop.· Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.· Proven supervisory experience, encompassing managerial techniques and principles.· Knowledge of project management and internal control concepts and practices.· Skill in handling conflict and uncertain situations.· Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities.· Ability to analyze and resolve irregular events.· You have strong analytical skills, are comfortable dealing with numerical data, and have strong attention to detail.· Physical requirements and working conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry 20 pounds, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
