We have an immediate opening for an Investor Relations Associate (up to 18 months contract). This role will be up to 30 hours per week with the opportunity to be converted to full-time employment pending workload and company growth. This position is available in Calgary, AB.
How we plan on keeping you busy:
- Mange the Company investor email, and respond to investor inquiries on a timely basis
- Participate in new investor investment pitch meetings and assist the CFO to provide support for investor diligence requests and new investor onboarding associated with the Company Debenture offering, and other subsequent financing rounds.
- Assist the CFO to prepare and update presentations for capital raising activities and investor updates
- Help CEO and CFO to coordinate and plan annual and quarterly shareholder meetings
- Maintain and manage the Company’s investor/shareholder database, analyze market data, and prepare reports for Management as required
- Work with external investment advisors and investment banking partners
- Work with legal counsel to maintain an accurate, up to date investment documentation database.
What will help you get here:
- Undergraduate degree/diploma in business, finance or communications or equivalent experience
- 5 years of relevant work experience in investor relations, banking, or within the financial services industry
- Experience working with public or private investors including institutional investors
- Self-starter and team player with positive, can-do attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented and resourceful
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in the use of Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and Word in a SharePoint environment
