The 1916 Company’s vibrant community extends from coast to coast and aroundthe world.Key Responsibilities:• Receive and log packages daily with accuracy and timeliness.• Input detailed information about merchandise, including pricing and vendor details,ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.• Perform quality control checks on all incoming jewelry and watches to maintain thehighest standards.• Conduct cycle-count inventories and assist with physical inventories across multiplestore locations.• Communicate effectively with jewelry and watch vendors regarding shipments,returns, and inventory inquiries.• Manage price adjustments and retag merchandise as needed.• Prepare, process, and securely ship jewelry and watch items to vendors.• Collaborate within an office team setting, while maintaining focus and attention todetail.Additional Duties:• Assist with morning and evening setup of showcase displays.• Provide support on the sales floor during high-volume periods, including sales events,some weekends and holidays.Qualifications:• Minimum of 2 years of experience in luxury retail, preferably in jewelry and watches;luxury hospitality; or luxury automobile environments.• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in pricing and vendor information.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Word.• Flexibility to work some holidays and weekends (advance notice provided).• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.• General knowledge or a keen interest in luxury jewelry and watches.• Data Entry experience preferred.• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Compensation and Benefits:• Competitive hourly rate with opportunities for overtime.• Health care coverage for full-time employees.• 401(k) plan with company matching.• Generous paid time off and paid holidays.• Employee discounts on luxury merchandise.Additional Information:• New hires will receive one-on-one on-the-job training.• All candidates will be subject to a comprehensive background check prior to hiring.• This is a fulltime in office position, Monday – Friday 9:00 AM to Close (Generally5:30PM)• On a rotating basis, you will assist with store closing activities 2 days per week.
