Position Highlights:
- Location: Indianapolis (with support to South Bend office); hybrid flexibility available
- Team: You will be the firm’s primary HR professional, supported by an AP Specialist and Practice Manager, and work closely with a managing partner

Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Administration:
- Lead the full employee lifecycle, from drafting offer letters and onboarding to approving time off requests and responding to handbook inquiries.
- Ensure smooth coordination with Accounting, Facilities, and IT to support internal personnel actions.
Employee Benefits Management:
- Administer health, life, and disability plans, including enrollments, claims, and renewals.
Insurance & Risk Management:
- Oversee firm-wide insurance policies (health, workers’ compensation, employment practices).
- Act as the main liaison with providers and brokers for renewals and updates.
Employee Relations & Development:
- Support performance management, evaluations, attendance issues, and disciplinary actions.
- Drive employee recognition efforts.
Policy & Compliance:
- Draft and update HR policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain personnel records and support wellness and health initiative projects.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of HR business partnership experience, ideally within professional services
- Proven track record in employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Skills:
- Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including experience collaborating with senior leadership and committees
- Excellent organizational abilities and discretion with sensitive information
- Tech-savvy and eager to learn new platforms
