Responsibilities:
- Manage and process complex bank reconciliations, including identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and post accurate and timely journal entries for various financial transactions.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of general ledger accounts, providing detailed reports and insights.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of complex accounting discrepancies and variances.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.
- Proven ability to analyze financial data and generate insightful reports.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Experience with Acumatica or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
- CPA or working towards certification is a plus.
