Good news! 1WorldSync is looking for a Software Project Manager to join our team in Portugal.1WorldSync is the industry leader in product content management. With approximately 550 employees across the US, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK, we’re seeking a Software Project Manager, to support our growing global team.
Reporting to the Director of Solutions, the Software Project Manager will have a good working knowledge of project estimation techniques and the ability to motivate team members. Ultimately, a top-notch software project manager should have good communication and decision-making skills. This role will be responsible for managing a software development, ensuring training, quality, and KPIs are reached.As Software Project Manager at 1WorldSync, responsibilities include the following:
- Discussing potential projects and their parameters with clients, executives, and software developers.
- Planning out the blueprints for software projects, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and indicating tests and maintenance.
- Assembling and leading the project team.
- Participating in and supervising each stage of the project.
- Ensuring each project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines.
- Creating a project budget and ensuring the project adheres to the budget as closely as possible.
- Determining and overseeing consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of all products in all stages of completion.
- Tracking milestones, deliverables, and change requests.
- Serving as a liaison between Engineering, Product, Sales, and CX teams
- Providing project updates, including milestones reached and other relevant information.
- Delivering completed software solutions to internal and external clients, and performing regular checks on the solution performance.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, software development management software engineering, computer science, or a related field
- 3-5 years of software development experience
- Proficient with Atlassian Tools (Confluence, JIRA)
- Proven experience in project management and software development
- Good working knowledge of project estimation techniques
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Good leadership, decision-making, and organization skills
- Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Languages: English
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Work experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications
- Agile practitioner certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP)
- Experience communicating and documenting complex technical designs

Additional Details:
