Full-timeDescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant serves a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely recording of monthly and year-end closings, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation.• Reconcile monthly bank accounts • Reconcile Company Employee Benefits• Prepare and post journal entries related to adjusting entries and accruals• Identify and resolve ledger variances• Assist with financial statement review and analysis• Assist in the annual audit and ad hoc projects• Assist with filing monthly, quarterly sales tax• Assist with overflow from Accounts Payables• Update reports each month using Excel, this is a large portion of the role• Assist the Company Controller as neededRequirements• Proficiency in Excel skills including formulas, VLookups and Pivot Tables• Attention to detail and organizational skills is a must• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database software• Power BI experience a plus• Thorough understanding of GAAP• Financial Reporting, Accounting, and Bookkeeping skills• Proficiency in financial analysis and data interpretation• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• 3 – 5 Years experience as a staff accountant• Bachelor's degree in AccountingBenefits- following a wait period of 1st of the month following 30 days of employment.
