We are looking to hire someone based in the United States for this position.

About the Role


As a Director, FP&A, you’ll drive financial planning, analysis, and strategy that ensures the delivery of timely, accurate, relevant and proactively persuasive insights. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial modeling, data analysis, and process optimization, having worked with high-growth B2B SaaS companies. The ideal candidate will proactively identify opportunities for financial improvement, manage budgeting and forecasting processes, support fundraising efforts, and provide actionable insights to senior management.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial goals align with our overall business strategy.

What You'll Do


  • Uplevel business awareness, financial acumen and actionability of key drivers of performance.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making balancing historic trends with future trajectory based upon business and market dynamics.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations on financial performance and business strategy.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support fundraising efforts, including preparation of financial materials and investor presentations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to track business performance.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial planning and analysis with an eye towards scalability and automation.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy of financial reporting and commissions processes.

What You’ve Done


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or similar roles, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a track record of influencing senior management.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, FP&A software, and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities.

Compensation


Specific to pay transparency laws, the salary range starts at

$190,000


and may include commission, incentive pay, incentive stock options, and benefits. The final job level and compensation will be determined by factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, years of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, geographic location, and other business considerations.
