The Opportunity
Direct Digital Holdings is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to support a growing pipeline of leads across a variety of industry verticals (agencies, healthcare, travel and tourism, etc.). This role is critical in converting high-quality leads generated by our inbound lead channel into closed deals. This individual will be pivotal in deepening our market share in these key industries by augmenting our sales efforts to drive revenue and growth. This person will report to the Director of Lead Generation.
This is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of warm leads generated through our lead generation channels.
- Contact and engage potential clients via phone to close sales effectively.
- Build strong relationships with prospects to fully understand their needs, pain points, and decision-making processes while ensuring a seamless sales experience.
- Deliver engaging sales presentations, product demonstrations, and tailored solutions that align with client goals.
- Utilize strong closing offers provided by sales to offer media solutions and marketing services that meet prospects’ needs to deliver on business goals
- Effectively handle objections and guide prospects through the closing process to secure deals.
- Collaborate closely with our Growth and Marketing team and external lead generation partners to optimize lead-to-close conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, sales opportunities, and closed deals in CRM systems.
- Provide timely feedback on lead quality and recommend adjustments to improve lead generation outcomes.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
- Continuously refine and adapt sales strategies to optimize results.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Marketing, Business Administration, or another related field is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience in B2B and/or digital media sales, preferably in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
- A proven track record of success in prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals in high-ticket verticals such as Agencies, Healthcare, or Travel & Tourism is preferred.
- Experience selling professional services such as training, implementation, or customer success support is a plus.
- Strong understanding of marketing services for digital advertising agencies including branding, strategy, and tactics.
- Familiarity with the full range of media solutions technology from programmatic advertising to advanced analytics.
- Ability to work collaboratively with lead generation teams and other stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a consultative approach to selling.
- Ability to quickly build rapport and trust with decision-makers.
- Proficient in objection handling, presenting value propositions, and executing closing techniques.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales automation and analytics tools.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to exceed targets.
Compensation
Base salary plus commission, annual bonus, and benefits.
