Job Summary: This is an exciting role for an innovative, high-growth defense technology company. The ideal candidate for the position is someone who has experience aligning an organization’s people strategy with its business strategy. In this role, you will be a change agent and strategic partner. We are looking for someone passionate about helping people learn and grow to help Epirus succeed by developing our most important asset – our People In this role, you will work closely with our talented Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams, reporting to the Director, People Strategy & Development and part of People team.
Responsibilities:
- Develops deep understanding of respective business units by attending team meetings and having regular management syncs
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the People team to develop solutions, programs and policies that support our culture
- Provide guidance on employee behavior, performance and conflict resolution
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance and partners with the legal department as needed/required and provide HR policy guidance to teams
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, 2025 workforce planning and succession planning
- Collaborate with managers to develop their team members through career pathing and review individual and organizational development needs
- Monitor the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
- Coach and elevate our leaders to support our culture, vision and company strategy/goals
- Assist in developing content and presenting during monthly people manager meeting
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in progressively responsible HR roles
- Demonstrated ability with training and development programs
- Demonstrated experience with HR metrics
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field with a PHR, SPHR, or additional HR certification
- Experience working in Aerospace & Defense
- Previous experience with Mergers & Acquisitions
- Collaborative; capable of working across all levels of the organization
- Organized; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Experience in project management

- To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is: $118,000—$149,600 USD
